on another note, what is happening to my redbirds? it seems as if some of the life has left the clubhouse. el hombre can’t continue to prop this club up, with no support. i didn’t believe we needed matt holliday, and didn’t like his salary, or his outside-of-coors numbers. but i am re-thinking that. our outfielders are way under-performing, and need some help. it was painful to hear the last week of games, as our offense went into a shell. our pitching, while adequate, isn’t able to shut out every team.
