Wonder if the moves made the last 2 days have awakened the recognition that a losing team doesn’t need any of these players, sans a few stars, to go forward. Perhaps the players are realizing they are playing for their future carriers. If so, good.

Hang a star on that 6-3 that ended the 7th,and they need to have “the conversation” with fowler about moving off of the centerfield position going forward. Brutal defensively.

And who saw wonger hitting over 300 this season?

I think Tommy should realize that

A) This is his first extended time in the bigs, due to injury mostly, and

B) baseball is a business, Leake was terrible for over 3 months this season, and Jack Flaherty is the future, and gives them a better chance to win.

Popping off like he did about the trade is not only inappropriate, it’s bad for the kid coming up to see you don’t want him here.
