I’m sitting here this morning, perusing fb and such, and seeing a shit ton of “happy fathers day” posts….. I am pretty sure I never posted one of those, and I know why. Me and my father never had that kind of relationship. I never went to him for advice, and I didn’t look up to him as a man of virtue, and courage. I wish I could have, as I could have used lots of guidance as I grew up. But, he wasn’t the dude to give it. So, I’m a little jealous of people that miss their dads, as I miss what I never had.

Just finished starting to plan a trip to key west with Donna. Booked a hotel for the way down, in Lake Park, GA, and we’ll stay with Dauvida the next day in Tampa area. Do some sightseeing there, and hit up Ybor City nightlife, then drive down, and stay 2 nights on a houseboat right on the water in key west! Sounds really cool, and I hope it is. Then we’ll drive up and visit Doone and Kim for a day and a half, then head home.

Already met some folks…. Lou, John, Jin, and Brandon… We played music trivia, and had a lot of fun, then they went off for dinner, and I stayed and listened to the cover band in the Rolling Stone Lounge… After they were done with their set, I went across the way to the piano bar, and listened to some good music over there…. Got plans for the beach tomorrow @ half moon cay….

Had a really fun ride today! Totalled around 350 miles, or so….

Went on quite a few twisties….. Had @wafflehouse for breakfast, and finished with a big, juicy, burger @cafetelegraph! Pearl performed flawlessly, as she usually does, and it felt good to get some practice on roads that drop, curve, and replicate the ones in NW Arkansas. Cannot WAIT to go down in 3 weeks to @BikesBluesandBBQ!….

Who the hell would complain that I was too loud commenting about too large of a truck? Pacific that’s who….. Not sure who it was, but I sure as hell never said anything about a 300 case truck being too big! Never even mentioned the case count….. I DID comment on the cleanliness of their basement. Guess I won’t do THAT again….

Started watching a new show on AMC called “Loaded”, about 4 British blokes who sold a phone game to an American tech company for huge money. It’s kind of funny.

Think I’ll go riding Saturday…. Need some twisties.

Putting stuff down on a regular basis…… I really don’t know how to do this, or if I could even begin to let loose some of the clutter in my head. But I’m getting bored with just lurking on fb, and old reader. Maybe I do have a few thoughts that are worth putting to paper?

So,….. Yeah, this is harder than it looks.

Why am I such a damn slug….. Can’t seem to get going to do much of anything at all…

Hell, this house looks like I really DID just take it over recently. Even though I’ve been off the road for over two and a half years now. Why am I not making any progress on organizing it better?
